A note from Jeffrey
Most importantly, I believe that our relationship with God or our creator is both sacred and personal. No one religion has the right or correct answers to life's toughest questions or mysteries. As a called and ordained minister of the Gospel of Christ I believe that there is a beautiful and loving God who pours his grace, mercy and love on all of His children. This, in my opinion is true regardless of race, religious affiliation, creed or sexual preference. I believe God's mercy and grace are renewed every day and are a gift to us. Not because we deserve anything from God, but because He willed it when He created us. God did not create religion, man did. God only willed that His children have a 'right' relationship with Him.
I minister as a non Denominational pastor. I believe in freedom of religion. Religion is a personal matter. I do not force my views on anyone, and I will not impose my religious convictions on anyone. I do not use the wedding ceremony as a platform to promote my beliefs.

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.
Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.
And I believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Finally, although I do not impose my religious beliefs during a wedding ceremony, I will not include any religious beliefs in the ceremony that conflict with my own convictions. That is the only fair way for everyone's views to be respected. There is much we can agree on about love, romance, and the commitment of marriage, and that is my focus in the ceremony.
